Jayme Hennessy is a vocalist and instrumentalist who continues to play for a number of Island functions.  She has won awards at Irish music festivals (USA)  for guitar and vocals, and brought the Block Island Ecumenical Choir to compete in a chorale festival in Limerick, Ireland- when she served as director of that Island musical group.   Jayme currently serves as a musician for the liturgies of St. Andrew Church, Block Island – during the summer season where she is respected and admired for her acoustic guitar and vocal performance.  She also heads a local group of Block Islanders known as “The Ukuladies” who have garnered fame and fans with their performances at the Island’s Common Ground Coffeehouse, Surf Hotel, and Kimberly’s.
